SonebhadraVikas Samiti has been working for the past more than 16 years for ensuring rights of marginalized classes especially the women and children of the Scheduled Castes and Tribal. Creation of education, health, brakes migration and livelihood opportunities. funding starts from cry from Oct 2007.
Brief details of the projects currently under operations.
Child Rights- This project is being run in 28 villages in 12 gram panchayats of three blocks Robertsganj,ghorawal and Nagwan, block of Sonebhadra district with the funding support of CRY New Delhi. About 2100 families and 7515 childrens of the ST,SC communities and other weaker sections have directly benifited. They have been able to access their entitlement under different govt.schems and have also gained social recognition. Presently we are working with 2279 family of SC, ST, OC community.
Axshay Project- CBCI-CARD- this project is being run in 200 villages in 105 gram Panchayat of three block Robertsganj Ghorawal,and Chopan block of Sonebhadra district with the funding support of CBCI-CARD New Delhi. about 500 patient identified of tuberculosis disease and cured after treatment 150 patient. now he is healthy.
